Back in 2019 before the outbreak of COVID, we visited a friend of mine in Cambodia, Mr. Sophan, who is also a beekeeper who harvests raw natural honey. We decided to pay them a visit as a friend, as well as exchanging beekeeping knowledge and experience.

Their beefarm is located in Kampong Cham province, and we understand from him that the development history in Cambodia is not long, as a result most of the land in Cambodia are still farmland and forests, which lead to a favorable place for beekeeping.

Once we arrived his beefarm, is a field of Java Cotton Tree which we could not find the end of it. It is a special mono-floral flavor in Cambodia. The taste is very exotic and a bit like citrus, which we have not tasted before. It color is amber, with a light aftertaste. I feel comfortable with my throat while slowing swallowing it.

What we want to do is to let our customer taste honey around the world, and provide a “fair trade” price to beekeepers especially in developing countries.
